NarrowForge Commission Ledger — Terms of service
1. Service
NarrowForge Commission Ledger is a Shopify administration application that calculates and records sales commissions from Shopify orders and refunds. The current scope is described on the product page and in the documentation.
2. Merchant-defined rules
The merchant defines the rules, assignments, period dates and adjustments. The app makes those inputs and the resulting entries reviewable; it does not decide what a rep is owed or guarantee that a rule matches an employment, tax or commercial agreement.
3. No money movement
Commission Ledger does not pay sales reps, run payroll, transfer funds or connect to a payment processor. A paid state records the merchant's external process. Locked periods remain immutable, and later refunds are recorded as adjustments in a later open period.
4. Plans and billing
The free preview and any paid plan limits and prices are the ones shown in the current product information and Shopify App Pricing. Shopify manages subscription approval, billing, taxes and cancellation. NarrowForge does not request or store payment-card details.
5. Availability and changes
The service depends on Shopify, its APIs and the infrastructure used to run the app. Rate limits, missing permissions, incomplete source data or maintenance can delay or block a sync or calculation. The app should show that state rather than present an incomplete period as complete. Meaningful changes are recorded in the changelog.
6. Privacy and contact
Data handling is described in the Commission Ledger privacy policy. The application, documentation and NarrowForge marks remain the property of their respective owners. Questions: support@narrowforge.com.
