A sample campaign needs a reviewed recipient list, the right variants and a clear decision about payment. Sending a sample does not imply that a recipient agreed to a collaboration or marketing communication.
Keep the campaign precise
Choose Samples and influencer seeding when generating a template in Bulk Gift Orders. Select catalog products and fill in recipient details yourself. A template supplies structure and SKUs; it does not invent people or shipping addresses.
Download a blank CSV if you already maintain the list elsewhere. Use stable IDs, positive whole quantities and text postal codes. Put the gift message in its dedicated column.
Review before creation
- Map and validate the imported list.
- Resolve shared SKU/address issues and check variants that changed or disappeared.
- Review current stock and explicit shipping costs. Availability is indicative until your normal inventory workflow reserves it.
- Keep order confirmation emails disabled when they are not appropriate. Drafts do not automatically send receipts.
- Create a small reviewed draft batch and inspect Shopify's results before expanding.
If you use an internal proposal to track a campaign budget, its estimated subtotal is before taxes. It is not a profit calculation or proof of sample value recovered through sales.
Review a second campaign
Prepare a new campaign from the earlier one and compare added, removed and changed recipients. Product costs and availability require a fresh review. Bulk Gift Orders manages the reviewed order workflow; outreach, collaboration contracts and fulfillment stay in your existing processes.
